Agra is the city of Taj Mahal, the one and only one attraction which attracts almost every traveler once in their life time to visit this unimaginative and massive man-made historic structure from the past. Taj Mahal which is a creation of Mughals in India and comamorate to Queen Mumtaz Mahal, wife of Moughal Emperor Shah Jehan. As I am not historian and better leave history part to Historians, Taj Mahal is closed during every Friday of the year, as Friday is the day for Muslims to offer prayers in the premises of Taj Mahal. Second important thing is to follow the main gate by purchasing the entrance ticket. Remember, thousands of tourists visit Taj Mahal every day, thus, also attracts touts with eagle eyes on unexperienced travelers. They may offer you cheap or free entrance to Taj Mahal or some shopping offers, AVOID it. Apart from Taj Mahal, other tourist attractions are Agra Fort or Red Fort, Sikandra, Tomb of Itmad-Ud-Daula, Dayal Bagh etc.
